Before I left my old life totally behind in order to join the U.S. Peace Corps in Ukraine, I felt obliged to document my poems and song lyrics for family and friends, just in case something "happened" to me while overseas. (Who knows, maybe if I died I would be the next Emily Dickinson.) Many years later during my heavy air travel schedule for work, I decided that I should modify this book such that it would be suitable for my daughters to read. The more I worked on it the more I realized that it was a kind of autobiography. But with their busy schedules and all the competing media of today, I still wasn't successful in getting them all the way through their father's book. Then the 3 of us came up with the idea to create a blog which includes the lyrics, the explanation of the lyrics, maybe some photos and some recordings of the music, if the latter existed.
